A tragic event has been reported from Penguia Chiefdom in Kailahun District. A man named Mohamed Kargbo allegedly killed his wife under circumstances only known to him and secretly disposed of her body in a pit latrine (toilet hole).
The victim, a mother of five children, was discovered days later by community authorities after an extensive search.
Her body was found in a decomposed state. The community remains deeply disturbed, questioning what could have driven Mohamed to commit such a horrific act.
